Multi Engine Rating
The holder of a licence endorsed with an Multi Engine Rating may exercise the privilege to fly under aircraft with more than one engine.
- Knowledge: CAR’s 421.38(3) does not contain any knowledge requirements for the multi-engine class rating. The Greenwood Flight Centre, however, does have an exam that must be written before the flight test may commence.
- Skill: Within 12 months preceding the date of application, a student must successfully complete a flight test as outlined in the Flight Test Standard – Multi Engine Rating - Aeroplane.
- Experience: CAR’s 421.38 does not contain any specific experience requirement.
